Be prepared for variable weather during the tour, scheduled for May/June and September/October. With around 1500m of elevation change, anticipate diverse weather conditions, including significant temperature drops. Pack accordingly to ensure comfort and enjoyment throughout the trip.

What to expect

This motorcycle tour is designed to help you explore the Balkans region. As this may be your first and only visit to the area, we have designed the trip to offer stunning views of scenic roads, mountain passes, and coastal highways. For maximum comfort and performance, we provide road-focused motorcycles for the journey.

To ensure a comfortable stay, we have arranged primarily 4-star hotels and chalets for accommodations. Breakfast is included with every overnight stay, and the price includes dinner on the first and last days. We cater to your dietary preferences by offering both general and vegetarian menus. We aim to keep the group size small to enable cosy communication, and we limit the number of bikes to 5 guests. Depending on the number of riders per tour, you will be guided by one or two team members, with a support vehicle carrying all your belongings.

Requirements

To join our motorcycle trip, you must be at least 25 years old, have more than three years of riding experience, and possess a valid driver’s license with category A. For EU riders, your driver’s license should be issued after 2002. For international riders, you must present an international driver’s license and your native document issued in the past five years.

Please bring your motorcycle apparel or request one from us for an additional charge. The apparel must have layers as we ride in temperatures ranging from +5 to +40 degrees. You should maintain an excellent climate to feel comfortable on the trip.

We will be crossing borders into five countries – Montenegro, Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, and Croatia. Please ensure you have access to all those countries visa-free; otherwise, apply for a visa upfront.

Motorcycles

We offer two categories of motorcycles – 700cc and 900cc. Our selection process takes into account the experience we aim to provide. We highly recommend that you choose a smaller-capacity motorcycle if you are riding solo, as it will make your trip simpler and more enjoyable. If you are travelling as a couple, a larger motorcycle will provide better comfort. We have created this guide to help you choose the most suitable bike for your needs.
